Mrs. Linda Frances Chandler, age 73, of Lindale, passed away on Thursday, April 22, 2021, at a local hospital.
Mrs. Chandler was born in Rome, Georgia on April 8, 1948, daughter of the late William Riley Chambers, Sr. and the late Frances Thompson Chambers. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Cecelia Diane "Cil" Chambers, and by two brothers, William Riley "Sonny" Chambers, Jr., and Robin Harris. Prior to retirement, Mrs. Chandler worked as an Office Manager for Floyd Medical Center. She was a faithful member of Pleasant Valley South Baptist Church where she was a member of the Joy Sunday School Class. Mrs. Chandler loved studying the Bible and was a former Sunday School Teacher. Her greatest joy in life was loving on her family, especially her children and grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband, J. T. Chandler; a daughter, Lori Mims (Michael), Rome; a son, Michael Chandler (Brooke), Cedartown; three grandchildren, Kayla Crider (Brennan), Trey Souder, and Isabella Chandler; a great grandson, Wyatt Crider; a sister, Crissie Coker (Larry), Ringgold; a sister-in-law, Brenda Harris, Rome; several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, April 26, 2021, at 1pm at Floyd Memory Gardens. Her pastor, Dr. Philip May, will officiate.
The family will receive friends at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, South Chapel, on Sunday from 4 until 6pm. Masks are requested.
Pallbearers are asked to assemble at the cemetery on Monday at 12:45pm and include: Ryan Edwards, Scott Edwards, Joe Knight, Jeff Chandler, Eddie Krukowski, and Brad Edwards.
Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, South Chapel, has charge of the funeral arrangements.
