Linda Marie Cartwright was born on December 23, 1948 and after a brief battle with cancer, she went to be with the Lord on January 14, 2023.
Linda was born in Rush City, MN to Louis and Eugenia Putz. She was the youngest of nine children and grew up on a farm outside of Cambridge, MN.
She was a strong woman, a hard worker and would give you the shirt off her back. She showed great love for her family and friends and always had an ear to listen. She had a great sense of humor and was always up for a good spaghetti fight. She was genuine, selfless, loyal and had many additional unique and amazing qualities. She will be deeply missed but we take comfort in knowing how much she loved us.
She was preceded in death by her parents Louis and Eugenia Putz; brothers Ray Putz, Dwayne Putz, Eugene Putz and brother-in-law Dick McLaughlin.
She is survived by her daughters Penni (Butch) Drews of Princeton and Shelly Jendro of Isanti; grandchildren Stephanie (Sean) Flynn of Zimmerman and Mitchell Jendro of Cambridge; great grandchildren Maggie, Gracie, Penni and Rylie; brothers Dale (Diane) Putz, Robert (Delores) Putz; sisters Karen Ward, Laurel (Wally) Evenson, Darlene McLaughlin and sister-in-law Marilyn Putz; along with many nieces and nephews.
To honor Linda's wishes, there will be no funeral service. We invite you, if you wish, to privately celebrate Linda's memory in your own ways.
