Linda L. Campbell, 68, of Bloomington passed away on Tuesday July 27, 2021 at the IU Health Bloomington Hospital after an extended illness.
She was born on November 25, 1952 in Bloomington, Indiana and was the daughter of Leroy and Violet (Boltinghouse) Dalton. Linda attended the Bloomington High School. She married Charles Allan Campbell on July 20, 1973 in Bloomington, Indiana they were married forty-eight years.
She worked for Kroger in Bloomington for over 20years as a Bakery Deli Manager on the Eastside and as the Fuel Center Manager on the southside Kroger. Linda also worked as a property manager for most of her working years before retirement in 2016.
She enjoyed her work as a property manager, she also enjoyed working with people, traveling to Florida with her husband, she loved the weather there. She will be greatly missed by her family, friends, and neighbors.
Linda is survived by her husband, Charles A. Campbell of Bloomington; her one sister, Teresa Wall of Mitchell; her four brothers, Russell (Trisha) Spicer of Ellettsville; Anthony Dalton; Timmy (Debbie) Dalton both of Bloomington; Doug (Nancy) Dalton of Martinsville; and many nieces and nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
A visitation will be held from 2:00pm to 5:00pm Sunday August 1, 2021 at the Allen Funeral Home 4155 S. Old St Rd 37 Bloomington.
