Lillian Esther Truitt of Denton and formerly of Federalsburg passed away on Tuesday, February 16, 2021 at Caroline Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Denton, Maryland. She was 77.
She was born on September 6, 1943 in Easton, Maryland the daughter of the late James Walter Truitt and Lillian Whayland Truitt
She was a homemaker. Esther never met a stranger. She enjoyed old western movies, jigsaw puzzles, and supported the Baltimore Orioles, Baltimore Colts and the Federalsburg Vol. Fire Company.
She is survived by a brother, James Truitt and his wife June and sister Elizabeth "Kibby" Richardson, both of Federalsburg, and a brother-in-law James Moneymaker of Kennett-Square, Pennsylvania, eight nieces and nephews: Paula Davidoff and her husband Bernie, Lisa Kloch and her husband Steve, Jim Truitt, Jamie Stephens and her husband Tony, David Moneymaker and his wife Lisa, Kimberly Love and her husband Robert, R. Michael Richardson and his wife Sheila, and Kelly Henry and her husband Alan.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Mary Ellen Moneymaker and brother-in-law Robert Richardson.
Funeral services and burial will be private. The family will announce a celebration of life service at a later date.
