Lillian (Heath) Nosal passed away Tuesday, May 4, 2021 at Springfield Rivers Nursing Home in Springfield, Vermont. Lillian was predeceased by her husband Frank (Snowball) of sixty-four years. She was predeceased by her parents Raymond and Bertha Heath, two sisters Lena and Dora and two brothers Howard and Gerald. Lillian leaves behind two daughters and sons-in-law, Pat Muzzulin and Jim of East Haddam CT and Kathy and Don Stusse of Sioux City, IA. In addition, she leaves behind two granddaughters and their husbands, Aimee and Kris Kalvelage of Albion, NE and Amanda and Jarred Monroe of Sloan, IA. She also leaves behind four greatgrandchildren with another on the way, Madison Monroe, Lillian, Frankie and Cassidy Kalvelage. Lillian lived in Higganum, CT until she and Frank retired. They built their dream home and moved to Perkinsville, VT. They enjoyed the peaceful, quiet and serene life that surrounded them. Lillian worked at the Goodyear Rubber Company in Middletown as a laster until she became a stay at home mom. She went back to work at Cheseborough Ponds in Clinton, CT until her retirement. Lillian loved her family. She was a very proud mom and grandmother. She enjoyed sharing her pictures with her friends and her home was filled with pictures of her grandchildren. She and Frank traveled together throughout the United States and Canada. She visited her dream state of Hawaii for their twenty-fifth wedding anniversary. She continued to speak of this trip throughout her later years. Lillian absolutely loved horses. She loved animals and she and Frank always visited the Springfield Humane Society with donations for the animals. She always could be seen taking carrots over to feed the donkeys which lived across the street from her. Lillian was an excellent cook. There was always the wonderful aroma of something baking in the oven, such as some delectable sweet or homemade bread. Lillian loved the western show Bonanza and diligently watched the rerun episodes every afternoon. She loved completing crossword puzzles and could always be seen completing the daily newspaper crossword puzzle. The family would like to thank Rivers/Springfield Health and Rehab Center in Springfield, VT for taking such good care of Lillian. A special thank you to nurse Mary for the extra special care she provided to Lillian during both good and difficult times. The family truly appreciates her efforts. Biega Funeral Home, Middletown, CT, is in charge of arrangements. At the request of the family there will be no calling hours and burial will be private.
