Legacy Chapels
Lidia Elizondo Garcia, passed away peacefully on January 13, 2021 at the age of 71. She was a beloved mother, mother-in-law and doting grandmother.
Born in Reynosa, Tamaulipas on October 11, 1949, she was a long-time resident of San Juan. She was known to her friends and family for her ever-present smile, infectious sense of humor and unmatched culinary skills. It was impossible to leave her home hungry!
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Sergio (Sarah) Garcia of Austin, Martha Gomez (Jose Luis) of Edinburg, Jose "Joe" (Lorena) Garcia of San Juan, Juan Carlos "Charlie" (Joanna) Garcia of Fort Worth and David (Lizah) Garcia of San Juan; her grandchildren, Joey Gomez, Jack Garcia, Michael Garcia, Rick Garcia, Oscar Garcia, Matt Garcia, and Christian James "CJ" Garcia; her brother, Silvestre Elizondo of Reynosa, Tamaulipas; numerous nieces, nephews and their families.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
