Libby Lynch Landman, 91, passed away on February 10, 2021, at Care Dimensions Hospice in Lincoln, MA. Thoughtful and generous, devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend.
Libby, daughter of Isadore and Shirley Geller, sister of Morton Geller, was born in 1929 and grew up in Springfield, Massachusetts. While in high school, she met Jerome Sydney Lynch, also of Springfield. In 1949, they married, building an enduring partnership, interrupted by his untimely passing in 1974. For most of their marriage, Libby and Jerry lived in Larchmont, NY, where they raised their three children.
Libby married Chaplain Nathan Landman in 1977. In 1981, they moved back to Larchmont, NY, and in 2009 to Edgewood Retirement Community in North Andover, MA. Nathan passed in 2017. Libby earned degrees in Russian Literature, Library Science, and Public Administration. She worked for many years as a librarian at the Larchmont Public Library.
Libby is survived by her daughter Priscilla and partner Cindy Lanane of Indianapolis, IN, son Jonathan and wife Cindy of Albuquerque, NM, son Andrew and wife Lynne of Chelmsford, MA, and granddaughters Rachel, Natasha, and Alexa.
