Lewis Vance Woods, 77, of Dallas, NC, passed away, Saturday, January 9, 2021 at his residence.
He was born June 2, 1943 in Mecklenburg Co, NC, son of the late Vance Woods and Gertrude McAllister.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his daughter, Patricia Lynn Woods Allmon; and sister, Virginia Anne Woods Vibbert.
Lewis is survived by his wife, Marlene O'Steen Woods; son, Lewis (Louie) Woods Jr.; grandchildren, James Jacob Cribb, Bryson Vance Woods, Joshua Jacob Hacker and Alicia Marie Hacker; and great-grandchildren, Wesley Eric Benfield, Brooke Elise Cribb, Jacob Lewis Cribb, Aubry Madison Benfield and Cohen Jacob Cribb.
A memorial service officiated by Rev. Walt Windley will be held 4pm on Saturday, January 16, 2021 at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service - 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia, NC 28052.
Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
