Lewis Ray Atteberry, born August 18, 1943 in Cheyenne, WY departed this life on April 23, 2021 in Snohomish, WA at the age of 77.
His childhood years were spent in Palo Alto, CA until entering the Navy in 1963.
He served his Country aboard the Aircraft Carrier USS Ranger. Ending his 4 years at Whidbey Island Naval Air Station. Lew returned home as a Vietnam Veteran. He would always stop and Thank any Retired or Active Military member for their Service. He worked at Boeing for over 30 years becoming a Boeing Incredible due to working on the very first 747. Dad took up running in the early 70's and enjoyed running with Team Hoofin' It. He enjoyed working on and restoring multiple cars and trucks.
He was a caring Husband, Father, Brother, Uncle and Friend and will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Lew is survived by his wife of 53 years, Carole Atteberry, Daughter Terri Cluphf and Brother Leslie Atteberry. Preceded in death by his Father Jeston and Mother Frances.

Interment will be held at a later date at Tacoma National Cemetery in Kent, WA. Memorial donations in his name may be made to the Foundation for Sarcoidosis Research @ stopsarcoidosis.org.
