Leslie Ann Griffin, 78, of Plainville, passed away surrounded by her family on Tuesday, November 30, 2021, following a brief illness. She was the wife of John J. Griffin, with whom she shared the past 30 years.
Leslie was born in New Britain on July 23, 1943, the only child of the late Herbert and Alice (Hutchinson) Sproete. Above all, Leslie centered her life around her family and relished in her role of grandmother and great-grandmother, sharing a special bond with each of them. She will be remembered in the hearts of those she loved each and every day, and leaves a legacy of love, laughter and many memories.
In addition to her husband John, she leaves her daughters, Pamela O'Neil and Erin O'Neil Finn; her daughter-in-law, Zofia O'Neil; her granddaughter, Alexa and her husband Layth, her grandsons Camron, Corey and David, and her great-grandchildren who brought her much joy, Layla and Layth Joseph.
