Leroy Harrow June 5, 1949 - July 2, 2022 Columbus, Georgia - Leroy was born on June 5, 1949 in Columbus Georgia. He transitioned to be with our Heavenly Father on July 2, 2022. Leroy was a graduate of the Carver High School Class of 1967. He was a member of the Chorus, Track Team, and Kings Men. Leroy was a United States Military Veteran serving in the United States Army and Marines Corp. Leroy also served his country during the Vietnam War. He worked as a Mental Health Youth Counselor at West Central Georgia Regional Hospital until he became disabled. During his spare time, Leroy enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, listening to music, and watching Western movies. A little-known fact about Leroy is that he worked as an upholsterer for many years, which was a personal passion that he enjoyed. Leroy was preceded in death by his Mother Carrie S. Harrow, Father Robert L. Harrow Sr., brother John Davis, and a special Aunt Lula Winford. Leroy is survived by his loving wife Barbara Early Harrow, son Darrell Early, daughters Kecia Mathews (Roderick), Tonja Dobson, and Nisa Harrow. Grandchildren Keydra Flakes, Adonis Dowdell, D'rell Stutson, Kayla Stutson, Regan Dobson, and Kaiden Crowell, Great grandchild Rylan Bowen, a brother Robert "Bob" Harrow (Shiva), a dedicated friend, Kelvin Stutson, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Leroy's favorite quote was "You don't have as far to go as where you have been." He lived his life without regrets. Leroy will be greatly missed by his family, friends, all that knew and loved him. A Celebration of Life service for Mr. Harrow will be conducted at 1:00 PM Friday, July 8, 2022 at Evergreen Memorial Garden.
