Leonard James (Jim) Vernon passed away June 12, 2023 at the age of 81. Jim was born on September 9, 1941 in Wauchula, Florida where he grew up.
He spent his adult life working for Smally, Welford & Nalven and Boyle Engineering in Sarasota.
He is survived by his wife Betty, sons Don Bouchard (Natalie), Mike Bouchard (Karma Gilchrist), daughter Carey Beychok, 5 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and his brother Jack Vernon (Lynn).
Family and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Mass at Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Catholic Church, 833 Magellan Drive Sarasota, Florida 34243 on July 14, 2023 at 10:00 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, please consider making a memorial donation in Jim's name to Tidewell Hospice or ASPCA.
