Leonard Carson House

Leonard was born 20, June, 1891 in Parkston S. Dakota. He was inducted at Washburn on July 21, 1918 Army Number 4,034,959, enlistment type inducted. First sent to Camp Custer Mich, served in 40th Company 10th Battalion, 160th Depot Brigade to August 14, 1918, Company D, 78th infantry to September 23,1918, he was in the Military Police, Died of Pnemonia, October 11, 1918, at Camp Custer Michigan. Amos House was his brother.My Grandma Louise House Engel told me that she remembers Uncle Leonard riding down the road on a white horse. I saw a photograph of him, it was like looking in a mirror.
