Leon Baker

Leon Baker, 94, of Odon, passed away at 2:22 a.m. Sunday, September 18, 2022.

He was born March 2, 1928 in Wheatland, Indiana to the late Harold and Emma (Smith) Baker.

Leon married Anna Lee Gillie on March 25, 1946 and shared 71 years of marriage until her death on April 25, 2017.

He is survived by his son, Van (Sherre) Baker of Bedford; brother, Sam (Sandy) Baker of Vincennes; grandsons, Nathan (Maidie) Baker of Bradenton, Florida and Todd (Blair) Baker of Loogootee.

Funeral services were conducted at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, September 22, 2022 at the Loogootee Christian Church. Burial followed in Memorial Park Cemetery in Vincennes.

Visitation was held Wednesday, September 21, 2022 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Blake Funeral Home in Loogootee.
