Lenard "Len" LeRoy Starr, Jr., age 63, of Watertown, SD, passed away on Saturday, December 12, 2020, peacefully at home surrounded by family after a courageous battle with cancer.

Len was born on May 27, 1957, in Watertown, SD to Lenard & Barbara (Koch) Starr. He attended school in Watertown. On June 10, 1977, he married Marge Lauen and to this union they were blessed with two children: Ray Starr and Heather Starr. Although this union ended in divorce they remained friends.
Len was an accomplished welder and worked at Angus Palm and B&G Welding. He enjoyed the outdoors and hot tubbing but most of all he enjoyed time spent with his grandchildren: Keegan, Kacyn, and his "Angel" Kayleigh.
Len is survived by his loving children: Ray Starr and Heather Starr, both of Watertown, SD; three grandchildren, Keegan, Kacyn, and Kayleigh; four brothers, Mike (Tami) Starr, from Onalaska, WI; Bob (Sherry) Starr, from Watertown, SD; Steve (Rose) Starr from Elkton, SD; Ronald (Lynn) Starr, from Colorado; one sister, Sarah Ulschmidt, from Rapid City, SD; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lenard & Barbara Starr.
