Len R. Rogan, age 64, of New Haven, passed away on November 4, 2022. He was born on June 24, 1958, in Mount Clemens, to the late Roy and Evelyn Rogan.
He married Tonya Brassinger, on August 29, 2015.
Len was best known for his skills on the basketball court. He had one of the nicest jump shots. Over the years, he acquired nearly a 100 trophies to show for it. Once he put down the basketball, he picked up a whistle and started officiating basketball games all over Macomb and St. Clair County. He was known to encourage the players and give them a few tips while officiating their games. He enjoyed not only listening to music, but was known to grab the mic and sing one of his favorite tunes “Sittin’ on the Dock of the Bay.” He was known to have the cleanest cars in New Haven. If you couldn’t find him, he was likely at the car wash shining up his ride! On Sunday, he spent most of his time yelling at the Detroit Lions on tv. Len had a big heart and always greeted you with a smile. He never met a stranger. He loved his community so much, as well as his family and friends.
