Leigh Mathew Dupre

Leigh Mathew Dupre passed away Saturday, June 4, 2022 at the age of 40. He was a pipefitter; resident and native of Bayou Pigeon, LA. Leigh was a US Army Veteran who served in Iraq. Visitation will be held at Wilbert Funeral Home, Plaquemine on Monday, June 13, 2022 from 10am until religious services at 2pm, conducted by Pastor Donnie Shaffer and Pastor Keith Horton. Interment will follow at Grace Memorial Park, Plaquemine. Leigh is survived by his children, Brayden and Victoria Dupre, Brennan Michelle and Brody Rivet; their mother, Brettanye Michelle; parents, Michael and Carol Mabile Dupre; siblings, Sunny Dupre Wisdom, Ross Dupre and wife Marlo, Guy Dupre, Amy Dupre Delaune and husband Jeff, John Dupre and fiancé Chau Vu, and Lindsi Dupre Wunstell and husband Ethan; nieces and nephews, Mikah Wisdom, Ella and Ian Dupre, Eliana, Levi, Naomi and Christian Delaune; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Valey and Edmond Mabile; and paternal grandparents, Alton and Evella Dupre. Pallbearers Ross, Guy and John Dupre, Brennan Michelle, Jeff Delaune, and Ethan Wunstell. Leigh loved to fish, being outdoors and nature. He always had a smile on his face and had a huge heart.
