Leea Pronovost 1959 - 2023 San Diego, CA Leea passed away suddenly on April 9th. She was born Leo to Raymond and Rosian (Hebert) Pronovost. He attended Cathedral H.S. He worked as Quality Inspector and later started his own business in telecommunications systems. Leo transitioned to Leea in 2016 and later moved to San Diego California where she founded Unicorn Homes at the North County LGBTQ Resource Center to provide crisis and transitional housing and counseling to LGBTQ youth. Leea is survived by her fiancée Coleen Adachi of San Diego, her son Gabriel and his fiancée Serena Smith of Sunderland, her former wife Jane, and six brothers and one sister. Alfred of New Hampshire, Louis (Lynn) of Springfield, Raymond of Granby, Ronald (Emily) of Agawam, Paul (Susan) of Crestview, Fl, Denise Chartier of Greenfield, and Robert and partner Kolleen Barlow of Russell. There will be a celebration of life at Thomas Memorial Golf Course in Turners Falls on May 13th at 11:00 AM. Burial will be private at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Unicorn Homes at heart.org (http://heart.org).
