Mrs. Doris "LeAnn" Fairleigh, 61, of Lubbock, died Monday February 8, 2021, in her home. She was born in Lubbock on February 19, 1959, to Bobby and Patsy Isenberg. She graduated from Roosevelt High School in Lubbock.
LeAnn is survived by 2 sons, Ken Fairleigh and his wife, Alexandra of San Francisco, CA, and Phil Fairleigh of Chicago, IL; grandson, Kenny of San Francisco, CA; mother, Patsy Isenberg of Lubbock; and 2 sisters, Lynette Young and Kathy Owen, both of Lubbock. She was preceded in death by her father, Bobby Isenberg of Lubbock; and her brother, Kevin Isenberg of Fort Worth, TX.
LeAnn was a strong woman who always gave 100% effort. She was a loving and committed mother who did whatever it took to support her 2 sons both academically and athletically. She was consistently the loudest and most engaged cheerleader in her sons' hockey games and track meets. All will remember LeAnn's spunky personality and infectious laugh, and how much fun she was to be around. Personally, LeAnn loved horses and was proud to be a true Texas cowgirl. It was that love of Texas that brought her back to Lubbock from Illinois. She was always happy to get together for a glass of wine and to share the latest about her beloved sons and grandson. LeAnn's smile would light up the room and her enthusiasm added energy to any gathering.
LeAnn was an exceptional homemaker and a talented craftswoman, maintaining a beautiful home. Professionally, LeAnn was an insurance expert, helping many people navigate difficult situations under stress. She also spent years volunteering for a charity that helped the homeless. A friend to many, LeAnn will be forever missed for her determined spirit, her sparkle, and her kindness.
A memorial service will be held for friends and family on Saturday February 20, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at Combest Family Memorial Chapel. It will also be livestreamed for those who are unable to attend. Burial will be private.
