It is with great sadness that we announce the loss of beloved husband and father, Lazaro V. Sabedra, on Thursday January 28th, 2021 at the age of 88.
Lazaro was born on December 17, 1932 in Pacoima, CA. He graduated from Oxnard High School in 1952 and served with the 44th Infantry Division at Fort Lewis, WA and Brize Norton, England from January 1953 to December 1954.
He retired from civil service for the U. S. Navy after over 33 years as a computer specialist.
He was preceded in death by his parents Pilar & Martina Sabedra, Brothers Ben, Fermen, Frank & Joseph Sabedra and Sister Cruz Ramirez.
He is survived by his Sister Adelaide Rocha and his Brother Daniel Sabedra.
He is survived by his wife of nearly 63 years, Alicia Sabedra. He is also survived by his sons Randy Sabedra of New York and Gary Sabedra of Los Angeles.
He will be fondly remembered by his loving extended family as "Uncle Laz"
Because of the current pandemic, memorial services will be scheduled for a later date. A celebration of life memorial will hopefully be planned for the end of summer. He has been laid to rest at Santa Clara Catholic Cemetery in Oxnard CA.
