Lawrence "Larry" Wiseman, Jr. May 20, 1934 - July 3, 2022 Waterloo, Illinois - Lawrence "Larry" L. Wiseman, Jr. 88, of Waterloo, Ilinois, born May 20, 1934 in St. Louis, Missouri, passed away on Sunday, July 3, 2022 at Mercy Hospital South in St. Louis, Missouri. Larry was a licensed pharmacist for over 30 years - the last 10 years as the owner/operator of the former Yociss Pharmacy in East St. Louis, IL . He was also retired from Ameren Electric at Rush Island. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Dupo, IL. Larry was a very generous and giving man. He would donate to several charities, at least one almost every month. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Wilma, nee Glassey, Wiseman, Sr.; a brother, Charles Wiseman; a sister, Sondra and her husband, Dave, Palarjari; a sister-in-law, Peggy, and her husband, Kenneth, Borgfield; and a brother-in-law, Garry Stone. Surviving are his wife of 40 years, Bonnie Wiseman, nee Martin; a daughter, Karen Burklow of Streamwood, IL; three step children, Rick (Cynthia) Welker of Catawissa, MO, Kevin Welker of Jackson, MO, and Kimberly (Gordon) Younce of Cape Girardeau, MO; a sister, Sue Wiseman of Streamwood, IL; four sisters-in-law, Virginia Eads of Greenwood, IN, JoElla Greive of Belleville, IL, Carol Garrett of St. Clair, MO, and Paulette Stone of Jackson, MO; nine grandchildren, Jeremy Burklow, Brook (Isaac) Venable, Anthony, Cole, Cale, and Annika Welker, Kristina (Chris) Simmons, and Brittney and Khloe Younce: eight great grandchildren; and his fur baby, Bella. Friends may visit from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 7, 2022 at Braun Family Funeral Home, Columbia, Illinois and from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. on Friday, July 8, 2022 at First Baptist Church of Dupo, Illinois. Funeral services will follow at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Roger Reid officiating. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday at the Cape Girardeau Memorial Park in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.
