Lawrence Rosso passed from this life on 6 April 2021, at his home in St. Petersburg, FL.
Born in New York City's Borough of Manhattan, he retired following a career of dedicated service to the
New York State Courts; and, with his wife Norma, relocated to St. Petersburg in 1999. Lawrence and
Norma shared more than 55 years together.
He is survived by his wife Norma, daughter Janet Salazar and son-in-law Augustine of St. Petersburg;
grandson Augustine, Jr. and his wife Sukanya with grandsons Augustine IV and Maximilian of New
Jersey; granddaughters Christina Salazar of Pennsylvania and Elizabeth Salazar of Massachusetts;
daughter Norma Cameau and granddaughter Mireille Cameau with great granddaughters Melanni,
Aminah, great grandson Marquis and great-great grandson Carter, all from New Jersey; also, sister-inlaw Rosemary Bravo of Winter Park, Florida and brother John Filipkowski and his wife Marilyn of Fort
Myers, FL. Further, there are Sisters-in-Law Margaret James and Lilly Barrow of New York City, Nora
Barrow of New Jersey, Carola Barrow of Miami, FL and Brother-in-Law David Barrow in Honduras.
With his passing, his presence so essential a part of the family who shared life with him, leaves an
enduring void as does his wise counsel and, always, invariable support. He will be profoundly missed by
his family, who remain most grateful for the years shared with him in this life.
Prior to interment, Visitation will be held on 24 April 2021 from 10:00AM to 11:00AM, Funeral Mass to immediately follow at Blessed Trinity Church 1600 54th Ave S, Saint Petersburg, FL 33712. View full obituary@
