Lawrence Ray Kingsley, 54, passed away on Wednesday, January 5, 2022 at the North MS Medical Center in Tupelo. He was born in Lee County on June 24, 1967 to parents George Lawrence Kingsley and Manie Carolyn Kelly. He lived most of his life in the Nettleton area. He was a member of Emmanuel Assembly of God Church in Nettleton. He had been employed as a concrete truck driver. Lawrence enjoyed wrestling , watching television, being outdoors, fishing and spending time with his family.
Funeral services will be at Emmanuel Assembly of God Church in Nettleton on Saturday, January 8, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. with Bro. Brian Wood and Bro. Terence Sutterfield officiating. Burial will be in Shannon Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife Melissa Kingsley, two sons, James "Jay" Kingsley, Skylar Kingsley, one sister, Angel Nanney (Bobby), one grandchild, Isabella Nicole Kingsley, two God sons, Matthew Thomas Reynolds, Christopher Keith Reynolds, two nieces, Madison Nanney, Amber Hester, three nephews, Andrew Nanney, John Hester, Cody Hester and a special friend Mark Hester.
He was preceded in death by his father and grandparents.
Pallbearers will be J. C. Kingsley, Matt Reynolds, Keith Reynolds, Elzar Fragga, Andrew Nanney, Bobby Nanney and Chris Sprayberry.
Honorary pallbearers Mark Hester, Bobby Sprayberry, and Jerry Box.
Visitation will be Friday, January 7, 2022 at the church from 5:00-7:00 p.m. and one hour before service at the church on Saturday.
