Lawrence Levi Lytle, 97, of Roscommon died May 20, 2021 at Mission Point in Roscommon. Cremation has taken place. Arrangements were handled by Lee Ramsey Funeral Home of Gladwin. He was born in Owosso, Michigan on March 20, 1924 to Lawrence and Mary (Nye) Lytle. He was married to the former Margaret Katt on March 16, 1946 and they enjoyed 75 years together. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corp. He moved with his family to Roscommon in 1960 and he worked at Pinky's IGA and later at Carter's as a meat cutter and produce manager. He was affiliated with the Roscommon Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. A virtual memorial service will be held Sunday, May 30 at 2 p.m. with Perry Stafford officiating. Preceding Mr. Lytle in death were his parents, sister Loretha Webber and brothers Max and Rex. Surviving are his wife, Margaret and son, Gregory (Loraine) of Roscommon. Also surviving are grandsons, Brian (Holly) and their daughters, Rylee, Emilee and Hadlee of Houghton Lake and Patrick (Roxanne) and their daughters, Abigail and Madison of New Era. He is also survived by a brother-in-law, Bill Webber and several nieces and nephews.
