Lawrence "Larry" Robert Caesar went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, November 15, 2022. He was born June 12, 1937, the son of Robert Louis Caesar and Marian Waltenbaugh Caesar in New Kensington, Pennsylvania.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Linda Wallace Caesar of Columbia, SC; daughters, Teresa Caesar of Charlotte, NC, Jacqueline Sexton (Joe) of Charlotte, NC, Lori Warlick (Dale) of Monroe, NC and Julie Felker (Dan) of Columbia, SC as well as one son Philip Caesar (Becki) of Charlotte, NC, and was "Pap" to multiple grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings, Geoff Caesar (Dee), Doug Caesar (Ginny), and Diane Miller; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Larry was retired from Alpha Gerry Chemical Company in Pineville, NC. He was a member of Northeast Presbyterian Church in Columbia, SC. He loved fishing, reading his bible, his family and friends, and most of all, grocery shopping.
A memorial service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday, November 21, 2022 at Northeast Presbyterian Church. The family will receive friends from 12:30 until 1:30 p.m. prior to the service at the church. A private burial will be held in Fort Jackson National Cemetery.
