Larry Krenzien passed away on July 29, 2021. Larry was born September 14, 1933, to Fred and Agnes Krenzien in Green Bay, WI. In 1955, he graduated from the University of Wisconsin and began his career working for Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL).
While living in New Mexico he met and married Marjorie Gilson; they were married for 62 years. In 1962, they moved to Southern California to work on the Apollo program. In 1964, they moved to Las Vegas, and he returned to work for LANL. He worked at the Nevada Test Site until his retirement in 1995. He was the Test Director for the final American nuclear test in 1992. Larry served on the Board of Directors for the Potosky Youth Athletic League and the National Atomic Testing Museum. He is survived by his wife Marjorie, sons Kevin (Susan) of Las Vegas and Brian of Egg Harbor Township, NJ, and granddaughter Nicki (Hubert) of Belair, MD.
