WOOSTER - Lawrence Leslie Drager, 91, of Wooster passed away on Wednesday, June 2, 2021 at his home.
He was born June 12, 1929 in Sherburn, Minnesota the son of Leslie K and Esther Hoelmer Drager. He married Patricia Bird on December 6, 1959. She survives.
He retired as a quality inspector from Liquid Carbonic Inc. in Smithville. He was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church where he served as a head usher. He was a life member of the VFW and had been active in the Isaac Walton League. Larry always enjoyed staying busy and helping others.
Larry proudly served his country with the U.S. Army from 1950 - 1952.
Surviving in addition to his wife, Patricia, is a son Daniel Leslie (Deborah) Drager of Wooster and grandchildren Maxwell, Lucas and Leslie.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers Daril and Edward Drager.
A Memorial service will be held on Monday, June 28, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at the Zion Lutheran Church, 301 N. Market St., Wooster with Rev. Shari Ayers officiating. Inurnment will follow at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Seville.
McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster is assisting the family.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Zion Lutheran Church.
