Lawrence "Larry" J. Casertano June 6, 2022 Lawrence "Larry" Joseph Casertano, surrounded by his family, courageously ended his battle with cancer. Lawrence was born in Staten Island, New York to the late John & Mary (Perelli) Casertano. He graduated from Baker High School in Baldwinsville, New York and served in the Army Reserves. He retired from the state of New York after 30 years and was a supervisor for the NY State Fair for more than two decades. Lawrence was a fourth-degree member of the Knights of Columbus Council 6282 and worked part time for the town of Geddes as head of maintenance. Lawrence is survived by his wife, Linda (Rogala) Casertano; son, Jason (Mandy) Casertano; daughter, Christina (Nick) Salvagni; grandchildren, Giovanni, Nina, Luca, Nicholas Jr. and Luciano, who were the light of his life, brother, Gerald (Debbie) Casertano; sister, Denise (Rocco) Paone; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Lawrence was predeceased by his brother, John Michael Casertano. His family would like to express sincere gratitude to so many wonderful and caring medical practitioners, especially his loving, kind and caring nurse, Breana who went above and beyond for her "buddy". You were his angel! Family and friends may call from 9:30 AM–10:30 AM Tuesday, June 14th at St. Marianne Cope Parish-St. Cecilia Church, 1001 Woods Rd. Solvay with a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:30 AM. The Rite of Committal and burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Lakeland.
