LaVonne Ann Schulz, 83, of Ashton died December 31, 2021 while in the care of Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.
She was born November 8, 1938, to Elmer and Laura (Zunker) Schulz in Rib Falls township, Wisconsin. She was the second born of four children.
On March 21, 1958,she married Delos Schultz in Pine, Minnesota. In addition to maintaining the house and working on the family farm, she worked various jobs including Fromm Fur Farm and Edgar Basket Factory. Lavonne was extremely hard working and focused on instilling that same work ethic into her sons.
In 1977 Delos, LaVonne and their family moved to Ashton, Idaho where she worked as a custodian for North Fremont schools for sixteen years.
LaVonne enjoyed travelling, camping, fishing and spending time in the great Idaho outdoors as well as cooking and baking for her family. She loved visiting with friends and playing card games with her grandchildren.
After the death of her husband Delos in 2004, she married LaVern Schulz on Oct. 28, 2010.
She is survived by her sons Kevin (Elva) Schultz, Keith (Delona) Schultz, Kurt (Kaylene) Schultz, and Kyle (Brittany) Schultz and husband LaVern all of Ashton, and her son Kenneth (Shelly) Schultz of Wausau, Wisconsin as well as her siblings Eldine Blaubach, Allen (Sonya) Schulz and Pat Schulz all of Wisconsin. LaVonne was also blessed with16 grandchildren,5 great-grandchildren, 5 stepgrandchildren, and9 step great-grandchildren.She was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by all.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Delos, and an infant son.
Visitation with the family will be January 6, 2022 from 6-7:30 p.m. at Baxter Funeral Home, Ashton, Idaho. Interment will take place at a later date at Emmanuel Lutheran Cemetery in Rib Falls, Wisconsin.
