Lavena Salisbury 78 of Odessa Tx went to be with our lord in the early morning hours of July 22, 2022 after a short tough battle with Cancer. She was an amazing wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister,
aunt and friend. She was loved by so many and will be dearly missed. Her passions were bowling, playing cards, going to estate sales and garage sales. She has many collections and was always looking for that perfect piece to add to her collection.
She was a proud wife of an Army career war Veteran and had amazing experiences living abroad. The many beautiful memories made & shared with Lavena will live on forever. She was preceded in death by her parents Oliver and Edna Upton, 4 brothers Garland, Lloyd, Elvin & Ray Upton. She left behind her Husband and one true love Chris Salisbury Jr. he was her soulmate and childhood sweetheart. They were married for over 62 years. They have 3 Daughters Teresa and Don Bennett of South Carolina, Sherry and Steve Hale of Odessa, Tx, Christina and Don Samples of Odessa Tx. 10 Grandchildren Dave, Brandon, Kyle, Heather, Cody, Kirby, William,
Justin, Ryan, Lyndsey. 11 Great Grandchildren Kloie, Reece, Jasmin, Tanner, Acie, Hazel, Aurea, Timmy, Olive, Addie, Emerald. 3 sisters Lavern Couch of Odessa Tx, Aletha Ketchell of Farmington NM, Velma Aaron of Georgetown Tx. 1 brother Lynn Upton of Farmington NM. She was a member of Parkview Church of Christ in Odessa Tx.
