Our sweet soul, Lauren L. Akins, 68, passed away suddenly of natural causes on June 7, 2022, with family by her side in Lexington, SC. Although Lauren led the most beautiful life filled with love and laughter, her life feels unfinished to the ones that will miss her every step of the way.
Calling hours will be held on Sunday, July 24 from 3 to 5 PM at the Plainville Funeral Home, 81 Broad Street, Plainville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, July 25 at 10 AM at Our Lady of Mercy Church, 94 Broad Street, Plainville. Everyone is asked to meet directly at the church.
