Laura Kialoa, 68, of Galveston passed away on Monday, November 7, 2022.
Laura Kialoa was born on August 12, 1954 in Oahu, Hawaii. She worked at Galveston County Courthouse until 1990. She loved watching her Houston Astros and Dallas cowboys and playing her scratch offs.
Laura was a loving mother, sister, grandmother and aunt. She is proceeded in death by her mother Lorraine L. Strickland and brothers Daniel Strickland and Rodney Strickland.
Survivors include her daughters Leilani Lara (Philip Urbina) of Galveston and Latisha Clark (Andre Clark) of Texas City; grandchildren Bianca Lara, Briana Lara, Mateo Chavez, Mya Chavez, Neco Cruz and Kaleiya Clark and great grandson Kai Lara-Taylor; sisters Rachelle Mavridis (Kostas Mavridis) and Mary Giokas and many nephews and a niece.
The family would like to thank the staff at Park Manor of Quail Valley and Hospice. At Lauras request there will be no services. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
