Laura Elizabeth Clader, 64, went to be with her Lord and Savior on September 8, 2021, in San Antonio, TX. She was born on December 15, 1956, in Lufkin, TX. to Dr. Forrest and Mary Orman.
Laura was a born again, bible believing Christian, who was steadfast in her faith to the very end. She was a loving wife and mother, whos' middle name should have been "adventure". She was a marathon runner, big game hunter, scuba diver, skydiver, world traveler, offshore angler and fly fisher. She was a former Pleasanton School Board Trustee as well as a member of the Nueces River Authority. Laura was a beloved member of the First Baptist Church in Pleasanton. She taught Sunday School and led Women's Bible Study over the years.
She is preceded in death by her father Dr. Forrest Orman.
Laura is survived by her husband of 40 years, Dr. John Clader; mother, Mary Orman, sons, Kyle Clader and his wife Georgia, Curtis Clader and his wife Megan and Bridger Clader and his wife Alyssa; brother, Douglas Orman and his wife Debbie; sister, Pat Orman; 6 grandchildren Graham, Harper, Keegan, Worth, Rebekah and Jace Clader.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, September 11, 2021, at Garden of Memories Memorial Park in Lufkin. A Memorial Service will be celebrated at 10:30 am on Monday, September 13, 2021, at First Baptist Church of Pleasanton.
