Laura L. Bigelow, 91 of Lake City, MN, passed away Wednesday, April 29, 2020, at Mayo Health Systems, Lake City Care Center, Lake City, MN.
Laura Lynette was born January 31, 1929, in West Bend, IA, to Marion and Jean (Robinson) Law. On January 18, 1950, she married Louis Bigelow at the Methodist Parsonage, Dover, MN.
Her life revolved around her farming. She collected pens and enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, riding and breaking horses. She will be remembered for her cookies and bread cooked on the woodstove.
She was a member of Lake City United Methodist Church, the Sunday School Treasurer, and a member of the church's Ladies Circle.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law: Laurie and Rick Weyant, Wynne, AR; sisters: Delila "Lila" Roth, Kellogg; Barbara Ann "Beverly" Scharberg, Rochester; brother-in-law, Lowell Jensen, Rochester, MN
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; two brothers: Edward and Richard Law; a sister Patricia "Patty" Jensen; and her favorite cat, Sparky.
Due to current gathering restrictions, a private burial was held at Lakewood Cemetery, Lake City, MN.
