Larry Gene Pense, Sr., 75, of Van Buren, passed away Thursday, June 9, 2022 in Fort Smith. He was born September 6, 1946 in Van Buren to the late Alvis and Shirley (Moore) Pense. He served in the United States Army and retired from Whirlpool.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Joy Free.
He is survived by his wife Frankie Pense of the home; two sons, Larry Pense, Jr. of Van Buren and Jerry Pense of Van Buren; a brother in law, Ovis Free of Van Buren and five grandchildren.
Graveside service will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 15, 2022 at Fort Smith National Cemetery, under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR.
The family will visit with friends from 5:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 14, 2022, at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home, 4100 Alma Highway, Van Buren, AR.
