Larry Milburn, 76, of Greensburg, passed away April 8, 2022 at Aspen Place Health Campus in Greensburg.
Larry was born March 16, 1946 in Greensburg, the son of Warren and Ethelene Boyd Milburn.
Larry was a proud U.S. Army Veteran, serving during the Vietnam War. He was a member of the American Legion Post 24, Past Commander of VFW Post 1987, as well as a previous member of St. John's Masonic Lodge #20. Larry was previously employed at Cummins Engine Company, retiring after 45 years of service. He was a caring and compassionate individual and was proud to be of service to all he met.
Larry is survived by his daughters Janna Milburn of Edinburgh and Johnna Milburn of Columbus; grandchildren Arianna Booker, Delani Milburn, Devyn Milburn, Addyson Chandler, Avery Chandler, and Madelyn Chandler; great-grandchildren Kingston Booker and Alaya Booker; siblings Joyce (Kenny) Quicksall, Warren (Kathy) Milburn, and Danny (Joy) Milburn all of Greensburg, as well as Marvin (Pat) Milburn of Tennessee. Special appreciation goes to Joyce and Kenny Quicksall as well as Tracy Szostak for acting as Larry's caretakers these past few years.
He was preceded in death by his parents as well as his wife Vicky Milburn in 2017.
The funeral will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 12, 2022 at the Jewell - Rittman Family Funeral Home with Rev. Larry Canfield officiating. Military Rites will be performed by the Bartholomew County Veterans Honor Guard. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until time of services Tuesday. Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the Undiagnosed Disease Network thru the funeral home.
