Larry, a dedicated truck driver and beloved family man, passed away unexpectedly on July 19, 2024. He was born on July 20, 1962, in Tyler, Texas to Emma Loyd and Bobby Lott. He leaves behind a legacy of love, faith, and wisdom that touched the lives of all who knew him.
Born and raised with a passion for cattle and the simple joys of life, Larry found fulfillment in both his profession and his personal pursuits. His days were marked by the rhythm of the road and the quiet moments spent caring for his cattle. His commitment to his family was unwavering, cherishing every moment spent with them.
Above all, Larry's life was anchored in his deep faith and devotion to Jesus Christ. He found immense joy in sharing the Gospel and serving others, embodying the teachings he held dear. A voracious reader and scholar of the Bible, he sought understanding and shared his insights with humility and kindness.
Though his stature was imposing, Larry was known for his gentle spirit and infectious sense of humor. His laughter could brighten any room, bringing joy to those around him. He valued relationships deeply and leaves behind countless memories cherished by family, friends, and colleagues alike.
In his final moments Larry shared his last words, "I see Heaven," providing a glimpse into the peace he felt.
Larry is survived by his beloved wife, Joni Lott; children, Jason Stiltner and his wife Katie, and Meghan Womack; grandchildren, Lillian, Jonah, Judah, and Emery; father Bobby Lott; brother Bryan Lott. They were the pride and joy of his life.
He was preceded in death by his mother Emma Loyd Lott.
Larry's journey through life was marked by quiet strength, unwavering faith, and a profound love for those around him. His presence will be deeply missed, but his legacy of kindness, faith, and laughter will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know him.
A celebration of life service will be held at 4:00 PM on Saturday July 27, 2024, at Richardson's Cove Baptist Church in Sevierville, Tennessee with a visitation preceding the service beginning at 3:00 PM.
