On Saturday, July 3, 2021, Larry William LeBlanc, loving husband, stepfather, and brother passed away at the age of 72 in Jacksonville, Florida. Larry was born on April 3, 1949, in New Orleans, Louisiana to the late George William LeBlanc, Jr., and Odile Stafford LeBlanc.
Larry grew up in New Orleans, Louisiana, a place he always called home. After graduating from the New Orleans Public Schools, he worked in the Federal Government for the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). Larry later served in the United States Army and fought bravely in the Vietnam War.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Linda LeBlanc, his sister Melanie (Ann) Stafford Stalnaker; stepchildren Gmerice Carter, Gina Banning, Shannon Gray, Jr., and Kevin Jackson; his chosen brothers Henry Chaney and Jules Galbreth; Gail Corley, and other loving relatives and friends. Larry was preceded in death by his mother Odile Stafford LeBlanc and his father George William LeBlanc; brother Stafford LeBlanc, wife Cynthia Jalloh.
A Celebration of Larry's Life will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 24th at Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home of Mandarin. Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared on the website below.
