He next graduated from The Ohio State University School of Medicine. He completed his Otolaryngology residency at Balboa Naval hospital in San Diego, California, where he treated many of the Vietnam War wounded. Larry had a wonderful life and would tell anyone who would listen! His idyllic childhood was full of basketball, baseball which was highlighted by a masterful hitting performance against Satchel Paige and pitching duals vs the Niekro brothers, and two sisters who spoiled him. He was often heard saying, "I have the best sisters anyone could have asked for". Growing up in Cambridge enabled him to develop life-long best friends. Larry loved all sports, especially golf and tennis. He took great joy in his 6 grandchildren and all of their activities. In following Larry's wishes, he will be cremated and a memorial gathering will be held in Cambridge, OH at a later date.
