Larry Leroy Bechtel, 62, of Carthage, passed away Monday, January 11, 2021 at Greenfield Healthcare Center. He was born September 7, 1958 in San Pedro, CA son of Lowell and Doris (McKeeman) Bechtel.
Larry was an over the road truck driver for 35 years. He was raised a Methodist and attended church regularly in his younger years. Larry enjoyed cooking and watching NASCAR races.
He is survived by his sisters, Sonna (Howard) Shields of Carthage and Deborah Ann (Mike) Signorelli of Warner Robbins, GA; five children, Starr (Terry) Metlock, Kristina (Jeremy) Aguirre, Bret Lowell Bechtel, Christopher Matt (Amanda) Neisent and Nick (Kristen) Neisent; a niece, Shavon (Josh) Kramarczyk; a nephew, Brian Rosales.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Ronald Lee Bechtel.
There will be no public services. Arrangements have been entrusted to Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service Knightstown Chapel.
