Lana was born on March 5, 1940 to Charles and Ruth Wiggins in Everett, Washington. Lana passed away on June 5, 2021 of natural causes in Snohomish. For the last three years of her life, Lana lived at Snohomish Health & Rehab where she received excellent care. Lana lived in Juneau, Alaska in her earlier years. She loved Alaska and had many fond memories of her years there. Lana was developmentally delayed since birth and suffered from depression and anxiety. Despite her disabilities and challenges, she was always smiling and happy. Her cousin Lynn taught her how to read and she was very proud of the accomplishment. She enjoyed many hours reading until dementia made it difficult. Another highlight of her life was volunteering at Everett General Hospital. Lana will always be remembered for her sense of humor and the funny stories she told. She was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her sisters Karen Schrier and Terry Brown, her nieces and nephews Jeff & Julie Schrier and Rafa & Rachel Brown. There will be a family graveside service at Cypress Lawn Cemetery on June 15, 2021 at 10:00AM.
