LaMora Sullivan Vancouver, WA - LaMora Sullivan passed at 8:00 AM May 31. 2022. She was born in Harlingen Texas, on August 12, 1921 to Louise Hudson Howell and Leslie Fred Howell. She attended Stuart Place School, then moved to Illinois in 1940 where she graduated from Wood River High School, attended Shurtleff College and graduated from Southern Illinois University in Edwardsville. LaMora married Wayne Alfred (Sully) Sullivan on July 28, 1951 and they raised three children, David, Robert and Gail in Wood River. David now lives in Gig Harbor, Washington, Robert in Port Townsend, Washington, and Gail lives in Vancouver, Washington. She has one grandson, Cyrus who lives in Portland Oregon and step-granddaughter, Monica Wallace in Chicago, Illinois. LaMora was preceded in death by her husband Wayne on September 30, 1997. At that time they had celebrated their 46th Wedding Anniversary. She was also preceded by her sisters Helen Welsh of Alton Illinois and Louise Shumway of Wood River, Illinois. She is survived by her son David Sullivan and his wife Veda Wilson, son Robert Sullivan and his wife Elaine Sullivan, and her daughter Gail Sullivan, including a host of nieces, nephews and their families. The family requests that in lieu of flowers or donations, please take an opportunity to perform an act of kindness in her memory and know her smile once more.
