Kyler Travis Sharp, 27, passed away on Monday, July 18, 2022, at his home in Rexburg, Idaho.
Kyler was born on August 30, 1994, in Rexburg, Idaho, to Travis and Alaina Sharp.
He was the third child and grew up in Sugar City, Idaho where he attended school and graduated from Sugar Salem High School in 2013. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Kyler was full of life and had an infectious personality. He could make friends with anyone anywhere. He loved baseball and football in his younger years but as he grew, he lived for hunting, fishing, sledding and motorcycles and did all of these to an extreme. Kyler could set his mind to something and accomplish it. At the time of his death, he was taking on the new adventure of building his own home. Kyler worked for the family painting company for nearly 20 years demonstrating an incredible work ethic.
He met the love of his life, Faith Hill, and they were married on May 9, 2020. Who knew that you could have a wife that loved all the same things you did? They loved hunting, fishing, sledding, motorcycling and camping together as well as doing lots of adventures together. He loved their dog, Axys.
He is survived by his wife, Faith Hill of Rexburg, parents, Travis and Alaina Sharp of Sugar City, sisters, Shanelle Mele of Rigby, Shalisa Sharp (Brandon Miller) and Baby Boy due in October of Rexburg, nephew, Cyrus Mele, niece, Briella Mele, in laws, Cade Hill, Ardell and Stacy Kaufman of St. Anthony, brothers-in-law, Shane Hill and nephew, Asher of Houston, Texas, Cody Hill and Kaycen Hill of St. Anthony, and grandparents, Ron and Elaine Stoddard of St. Anthony and Gary Mason of Idaho Falls.
He was preceded in death by a nephew, Gabriel Mele, grandparents, Ray and Zenda Sharp and Betty Jean Mason.
Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Monday, July 25, 2022 at the Sugar City Stake Center, 315 East 300 South, Sugar City. The family will receive friends at the Stake Center on Sunday, July 24, 2022 from 5:30-7:00 pm and Monday from 10:00 - 10:45 am prior to the services. Burial will be in the Sugar City Cemetery under the direction of Bert Flamm Mortuary. Condolences may be sent to the family online at www.flammfh.com.
