Kristine M. Tschida

Private services will be held a later date at the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery near Little Falls for Kristine "Kris" Margaret Tschida, 63 of Avon who died Saturday, November 15, 2025 at the St. Cloud Hospital.

Kris was born October 18, 1962 in Little Falls to Lloyd & Georgia (Werkman) Lange. She graduated from Little Falls High School in 1981 and married James (Jim) Tschida on September 6, 1986 in Pierz. Kris worked at ShopKo in St. Cloud for most of her career and also at Aria Communications. She enjoyed spending time with family (especially her grandchildren), a good cup of coffee, crossword puzzles and watching Jeopardy. Kris was known for her home cooking, a listening ear and her sense of humor. She will truly be missed at Sunday morning "Coffee Klatch."

She is survived by her children, Venna (Keith) Trettel of St. Joseph; Alaina (Jeremy) Euerle of St. Joseph; Jessie (Michael) Crane of Foley; Joseph (Kaitlyn) Tschida of Avon; brothers and sister, Kevin (Kathy) Lange of Dickson, TN; Katie Lange of Clearwater; Steve (Doris) Lange of Fort Ripley; 9 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Kris is preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
