Kristine Walters Frost passed away 8/2/2021 at the age of 76 years.
Kris was born to the late George E. and Grace Spray Walters in Columbus, OH, and spent many years in Ohio before eventually moving to Texas and later Indiana.
Kris began her college studies at The Ohio State University, ultimately graduating from Texas A&M University. She was an enthusiastic student, especially in the areas of language, writing and books, and brought this enthusiasm to her work at Denison University and the Santayana Edition.
Kris was a caring and compassionate person, who was liked and highly regarded by all who had the opportunity to be a part of her life. Her favorite times were spent with her family, whom she loved above all else.
Kris is preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Sherman Frost, and by her sister-in-law, Carolyn Frost Hurni (Robert). She is survived by her son, Andrew Frost, daughters Gail Venrick and Amanda Hamilton, grandchildren, Jayda Hamilton, Adam (Tanner) Venrick and Michael Venrick (Moriah) and a great-grandchild. She is also survived by her sister, Karen Gardner, and brother G. Kent Walters (Debra) and her two nieces.
A gathering honoring the memories of both Kris and Sherm will be held Friday, September 24, from 11:00-2:00 at the Carriage House at Bryn Du, 537 Jones Road, Granville, OH.
