Mr. Koji Abe of Tokyo, Japan died on June 14, 2019 of heart failure, at the age of 82. A long-time resident of Bloomington, he worked at Red Lobster Restaurant for over 25 years before his retirement. He is survived by his sister, Mrs. Ryoji Watanabe, brothers Toshisaburo and Norio, and wife, Linda Sugioka Abe, who recently retired from the Department of Second Language Studies at Indiana University. Memorial contributions can be made to the First Christian Church of Bloomington, 205 E. Kirkwood Avenue, 47408. Services are pending.
