Kimberly Ann Steele passed away on Wednesday, February 10, 2021. She was 53.
Mrs. Steele was born March 22, 1967 to the late Edward Gibbons and Barbara Ann Kueglar Conroy in Baltimore, Maryland.
Raised in Marydel and the Eastern Shore Maryland, Mrs. Steele graduated from North Caroline high school in Ridgely, MD in 1985. She then went on to receive a certification as a CNA and worked in several nursing homes. Later, she found her passion as a kitchen designer and project coordinator. She and her husband, Roger, ran their own business, Steele's Home Improvements, Inc., together and were very successful.
Mrs. Steele enjoyed camping and spending time with her family, especially her grandkids. She was a big supporter of the Marydel-Hartly Little League acting for five years as president and being involved for 11 years.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Roger Steele and brother, John Edward Conroy.
She is survived by her fiance`, and partner for eight years, Jerry Dye; son, Edward Steele (Rebecca) of Camden, De; Jerry's children, Jerry Dye III (Jamie) of Arbuts, MD, James and Jarrett Rigby, of Marydel, DE; sister, Barbara Murphy (Keith Rhodes) of Churchill, Md; nieces and nephews, Brian Ward (Jessica), Hunter, McKenzie, Kami, Marshall (Kaitlyn), Alyssa, Corey (Amanda), Tanner, Jaxson, Olivia, Delaney Fox, Amanda (Dan), and Wesley; five grandchildren, Emma Rae, Jayme Lynn, Arya Mae, Sarah, Keira; and her beloved doggy, Dallas, who will all dearly miss her.
Funeral services will be 1 pm on Wednesday, February 17, 2021 at Torbert Funeral Chapels, South 1145 E. Lebanon Rd (Rt10). The viewing begins at 11 AM until service time. Interment will follow at Sharon Hills Memorial Park, in Dover. Services will be streamed online for those who cannot be in attendance, www.facebook.com/torbertfuneralchapels.
