Kim Ann Parish Fuller passed away peacefully on September 18, 2021, just a few days after her 65th birthday. She was born on September 14, 1956, in Amarillo.
Services will be held on Wednesday, September 22, 2021 at 10:30 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church, located at 5005 I-40 in Amarillo. Interment will follow at Llano Cemetery East. Arrangements have been entrusted to Lighthouse Funeral Home, of Amarillo
Kim was the oldest child and only daughter of Joe and Marilyn (Herring) Parish. As a child, her father often referred to her affectionately as "punk" (short for punkin') She inherited her mother's delicate features, blonde hair, and blue eyes, along with a great deal of spunk and fortitude, and a love for fun, from bona fide Parish genes. She was beautiful inside and out.
She loved her brothers, Joe, Shawn, and Shane. Over the years, she shared that love with her sisters-in-law. She was a stepmother, a grandmother, and a doting aunt. A lifelong resident of the Texas Panhandle, she grew up in Amarillo and later moved to Happy. She was an AHS Sandie; a homemaker; a barber; an upholsterer; a Pilates enthusiast; a lifelong member of Trinity Lutheran Church; a Republican; an animal lover (especially dogs); a Meals-on-Wheels driver for years; and a cancer warrior who embraced Jesus as her Lord and Savior. She was all that, and then some.
Kim was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Donnell Fuller; her grandparents, Bill and Fay Parish, and Tullie and Clara Herring.
She is survived by her brothers, Joe, of Austin, Shawn of Amarillo, Shane and wife, Sue, of Amarillo; her children in Amarillo and Austin, Joshua Fuller and wife, Amanda, Leigh Fuller, Leslie Meier, Jessica Ehrlich and husband Taylor; seven grandchildren, Hannah, Thomas, Jailey, Preston, Isabel, Vedder, and Caroline; her uncles and aunts, Max and Karen Parish, Duke and Jan Parish, and Jerry Herring; many cousins, nieces and nephews, including Erin Kay Robertson and husband, Ross; T.J. Parish, Morgan Parish, Kurry Parish and wife Stephanie, Kelsi Fay Parish, and many cherished lifelong friends.
If you would like to honor Kim and the difference her life made, the family suggests donations be made to a local animal rescue shelter.
