Kim Durall, age 58, was freed from her battle with brain cancer on Tuesday, September 6, 2022, while surrounded by her loving family.
Kim was born in El Paso, Texas on March 28, 1964, daughter of Sharon Elaine Patterson Brown and the late Thomas Olan Brown. She moved to New Mexico for a short time, and her and her family moved to Chattanooga, Tennessee in 1972, where she met her husband, Jim, in 1980. In 1985, they moved to Rome, Georgia where they have spent the past 37 years, and built a beautiful life.
Kim is survived by her husband of 37 years, James Robert "Jim" Durall, Jr.; three children, Cory Robert Durall (Stephanie), Allie Durall Riddle (Trice), and Thomas Charles Durall; her four grandchildren, J. T. Riddle, Caroline Durall, Kate Durall, and Alivia Riddle; her mom, Sharon Brown; and a brother, Keith Brown (Dawn). She was preceded in death by her father.
Kim's family will honor her with a service on Monday, September 12, 2022, at 3pm in the Chapel at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, North Chapel, with the Rev. Mac McCurry and the Rev. Bob Agan officiating. The family will receive friends at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, North Chapel, on Monday from 1pm until 2:45pm.
