Erlewein Mortuary
Kevin DeWayne Scott age 65, formerly of Greenfield, passed away Wednesday, November 13, 2024, peacefully at his home. He was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on August 12, 1959 to Consuella "Connie" (Scott) Boswell. He graduated from Eastern Hancock High School in 1977. He married Traci Jean (Smith) Scott on September 15, 1978 in Greenfield, Indiana.
He worked for Precoat Metals as a Water Treatment Specialist for over forty years. Kevin was loved by family and friends and will be sorely missed.
He is survived by his wife, Traci Scott; son, Brian Scott (Cassy); grandsons, Avery (eleven) and Lennon (nine); and his mother, Connie Boswell. He was preceded in death by his siblings, Darla and Mark Scott.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 18, 2024, from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Erlewein Mortuary & Crematory, 1484 W. US Hwy. 40, Greenfield, IN 46140. A memorial service will be held following the visitation at 6:00 p.m. at the mortuary.
